Walking

• meet the owner(s) and their dog(s) 
• learn a bit about the history of the dog(s), including likes and dislikes
• confirm if we can accommodate their scheduling needs
• briefly review the paperwork (picked up later once completed)

• 30 minutes (1 to 4 dogs maximum)
• 1 to 2 times per week = $28 per walk
• 3 to 5 times per week = $25 per walk
• time begins upon arrival at the location (notified by text)
• on-leash walk in local area (25 to 28 minutes of actual walking; weather dependent)
• clean-up of all 'business'
• paws to be wiped when re-entering home
• brief description of visit & occasionally a photo (notified by text) 

• 30 minutes
• requested by owner due to age, personality or preference
• time begins upon arrival at the location (notified by text)
• on-leash walk in local area (25 to 28 minutes of actual walking; weather dependent)
• clean-up of all 'business'
• paws to be wiped when re-entering home
• brief description of visit & occasionally a photo (notified by text)

• description similar to 30 minute private walk above
• only available if scheduling / travel allows  

• dog(s) must be from same household
• applies for all walks

A. Cancellation reasons that will result in no fee being applied:

• Statutory Holidays (our services are often still available)
• Dog related sickness / emergencies
• Extreme weather conditions (determined by Get Up and Go)
• Other circumstances that can be discussed (job loss, etc.)

Please note that it will be 'upon your honour' to let us know the reason behind your decision if you are requesting a 'no fee' cancellation)

B. Cancellation reasons that will result in the full fee being applied:

• Personal decisions (being away on that day, appointments that conflict with scheduled walk times, etc.)
• Staying home from work
• Human sickness in the home. In light of developments in recent years, we are confident that, with the proper use of masks and with no contact with people in the infected home, all walks can be carried out as scheduled. Of course there will always be exceptions
• Other situations that are not covered above

C. To hold your time for extended periods of time (vacations), 1/3 of your daily fee will be applied. If the period exceeds 2 weeks and is on a reoccurring basis, you may lose your time to another client. This hold fee will also be applied in certain circumstances and will be at the sole discretion of Get Up and Go. Vacation dates must be received by Get Up and Go no later than 2 weeks prior to departure.
